THE result ended a three-match losing streak for Blackburn, who returned to the play-off places, ahead of the action yesterday.
Boss John Eustace said: “I thought we were excellent. I thought we should have been out of sight first half, we played some fantastic football, really pleased to go in at half-time 1-0up.
“The way the lads battled and stuck together in that second half, I thought we really deserved the victory. We had to show a different side to our game and really dig in.
