HARROGATE Town boss Simon Weaver says it is a ‘huge boost’ that striker Luke Armstrong has stayed put.
The 27-year-old was all set to join Hollywood-backed Wrexham, but the move fell through on transfer deadline day after the deal was not completed before the 11pm cut-off.
The Red Dragons pondered an appeal but decided it would not bear fruit, and apologised to Armstrong and Harrogate in a statement on Wednesday.
