No deal! Luke’s move is denied

Luke Armstrong's deadline day move from Harrogate Town to Wrexham fell through – because the paperwork wasn’t completed in time.
The 27-year-old’s club announced the deal shortly after Friday night’s 11pm deadline and Wrexham said they had agreed terms but were waiting for confirmation from the EFL.

But the league confirmed on Saturday morning that it had been rejected and Armstrong, who scored 16 goals in League Two last season, remains a Town player.
