SUNDERLAND manager Tony Mowbray has dismissed their chances of reaching the play-offs after a slump in form.
Promoted through the League One play-offs last season, a youthful Black Cats side have spent much of the season challenging for a berth in the top six.
But an injury to top scorer Ross Stewart, followed by three straight defeats - including a 5-1 beating at home to Stoke last weekend - has dropped the Wearsiders into mid-table.
