HOLOHAN DEPARTS POOLS…

GAVAN Holohan has left Hartlepool with the best wishes of manager Graeme Lee.
The 30-year-old Irish midfielder has dropped down a division to link up with National League side Grimsby Town on a permanent deal.
Holohan scored 23 goals in 108 games for Pools, helping the club return to the Football League last season.
Lee said: “I would like to thank Gav for everything he has given, some great moments the fans will always remember.
“He’s been given an opportunity he wanted and we would like to wish him all the best.”
