BLYTH JOY AT PLAYING WITH NICKY

OLDHAM new-boy Jacob Blyth admits playing in the same team as Nicky Adams is “a striker’s dream”.
The 28-year-old, who used to be on Leicester’s books, joined the Latics on a short-term deal ahead of the new season after impressing on trial. Blyth, having overcome a number of injury setbacks, hopes he can benefit from winger Adams’ deliveries.
“I see it as a massive opportunity to get my career back on track,” Blyth said.
“Nicky Adams is an experienced pro, so to be in the same team as him is a striker’s dream.”
