BODDY IRATE AT MISSING RESCUE PACKAGE

COVENTRY are dismayed by the Government’s decision not to include EFL clubs in their coronavirus financial rescue plan.
Eleven sports, including rugby union, rugby league and horse racing, will benefit from the £241m ‘Winter Survival Package’ announced by Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden on Thursday.
Meanwhile the Premier League has been urged to “come to a reasonable arrangement” with the EFL to offer assistance, but that is not good enough in the view of Coventry chief executive Dave Boddy.
