GRIMSBY WAITING TO GET BACK IN ACTION

GRIMSBY Town were forced to sit out a second successive Saturday following a positive coronavirus test. After last weekend’s game at Cheltenham was postponed, the Mariners needed to call of yesterday’s League Two clash at home against Bradford.
Midfielder Jock Curran, 19, tested positive for Covid-19, meaning the entire squad were put into self-isolation in line with government guidelines.
Tuesday’s EFL Trophy tie at Hull has also been postponed. It has been rearranged for Tuesday, November 17.
