DELIGHTED Colchester boss John McGreal saluted a solid rearguard action from his side as they triumphed at stuttering Oldham.
Frank Nouble’s strike ultimately separated the two sides on a day when the U’s extended their unbeaten run to four matches.
Both sides struck the woodwork on a day when the Essex outfit were probably rather fortunate to have secured maximum points.
