Askey left searching for home comforts

VALE Park must be a fortress, says John Askey after praising his side for keeping a clean sheet in the win over Cambridge.
Leon Davies’ 83rdminute own-goal separated the two sides as Port Vale’s unbeaten home start continued.
Vale shipped five goals last time out with shot-stopper Scott Brown stressing they couldn’t keep conceding with that regularity.
And they bounced back perfectly by holding the U’s at bay to pick up three points at Vale Park.
