Ben’s blast is another Hollywood moment

PORTSMOUTH boss Kenny Jackett hailed Ben Close’s wonder strike as they eased past Tranmere to pick up their first league win of the season.
Close scored a stunning 30-yard volley days after netting from a similar range against Birmingham City in the EFL Cup, with Tom Naylor sealing the points 15 minutes from full time.
Jackett said: “It was a great goal, the goalkeeper made a couple of excellent saves, but Ben hit it really true and it was a great finish into the top corner which set us on our way.
