ANOTHER BLOW FOR WATMORE

SUNDERLAND winger Duncan Watmore is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering ankle ligament damage. The unlucky 25-yearold only returned to action in December after almost two years out with a serious knee injury.
Watmore suffered his latest setback shortly after scoring the Black Cats’ equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Wycombe. Manager Jack Ross confirmed he will now miss eight to 12 weeks, and said: “The likelihood is that Duncan will miss the rest of the season. “It is incredibly disappointing for him because of what he has been through.”
