SOL Campbell’s Macclesfield Town have pulled off a coup by adding former Manchester United and England striker Andy Cole to their coaching staff on a parttime basis.
The 47-year-old is set to run the rule over the club’s forwards and will give the club a boost as they look to break free from the clutches of relegation.
He said: “Sol gave me a call and said that he would like me to have a look at the strikers and see what I think.
“I watched training and said I would like to come in a couple of days a week.
“It’s good for me.”
