SHREWD MOVE FOR WALKER

SHREWSBURY have secured the signing of Brad Walker from Crewe. The 22-year-old midfielder, who can also operate at centre-back, has agreed a one-and-halfyear deal, with the option of a further year.
Despite his age, Walker has already racked up nearly 150 senior league appearances and will be loaned out to Wrexham for the remainder of the season. Shrews boss Sam Ricketts said: “He had the potential to be a really important player in the future. Brad is a player I took to Wrexham. He’s a player with huge ability.
