Magic from Maja saves Black Cats’ home run

JOSH MAJA struck his 14th goal of the season to preserve Sunderland’s unbeaten record at the Stadium of Light to secure a draw with Shrewsbury.
Maja is out of contract in the summer and the Black Cats are keen to tie him down to a longer deal amid interest from Premier League and Championship clubs.
Sunderland, who have agreed a new contract with Lynden Gooch, couldn’t find a winner and remain four points behind second-placed Luton.
