DEAN Smith was honest enough to admit that Aston Villa were somewhat fortunate to earn a point in a hard fought home draw against a revitalised Stoke City side.
In the end Villa was indebted to the performance of substitute Jonathan Kodjia for salvaging a point which enabled them to increase their unbeaten run to seven games.
What pleased Smith was the fact Villa had to twice come from behind to earn a point.
