GILBEY’S TRIBUTE TO MK STAFF

ALEX Gilbey admits he did not expect to be back playing as quickly as he has for MK Dons.
The midfielder had made 22 appearances going into yesterday’s clash with Stevenage.
The 23-year-old was not pencilled in to return from a serious knee injury until November.
“If someone had told me when I first did the injury that I would have played so many games at this point, I would have bitten their hand off,” he said.
“I feel like I’m getting better each game. I’m feeling strong and fit, which is thanks to the medical team and management.”
