DARIUS Charles could have been playing for Grenada against Cuba this weekend – instead of being sent to Coventry.
The Wycombe defender, who joined from AFC Wimbledon this summer, was called up by the Caribbean country for their CONCACAF Nations League qualifier, but felt he was duty-bound to turn the invitation down.
