IT’S not often a player agrees they should lose their place in the team but that’s exactly what happened with Swindon’s goalkeeper last week.
Lawrence Vigouroux had been the Robins’ No.1 for the first month of the season but veteran Luke McCormick deputised while Vigouroux was on international duty with Chile in early September.
And the 35-year-old shone – keeping back-toback clean sheets in the space of four days against Morecambe in the league and Newport County in the Checkatrade Trophy.
