HOLT NEW ROLE AT NORWICH

CHAMPIONSHIP
STRIKER Grant Holt has announced his retirement from football to concentrate on a new coaching role at Norwich.
The 37-year-old scored 78 goals for the Canaries over a four-season spell, spearheading the Norfolk’s club rise from the third tier back into the Premier League under Paul Lambert.
Holt eventually left Norwich for Wigan in July 2013 and also played in Scotland at Hibernian, before joining National League side Barrow as player-coach. This month, the forward was handed a part-time role working within Norwich’s Academy as well as coaching at a local school.
