BIRMINGHAM fans may have spent the summer laughing at the chaos unfolding at Villa Park, but the joke is on them now.
The mass departure of Birmingham’s financial directors this week would appear to leave CEO Xuandong Ren as the solitary hand at the tiller.
Which is a bit like leaving Mr Bean at the helm of a 747. From the sacking of Gary Rowett to the millions wasted on agents and substandard players, Ren has done nothing to suggest he has the competence to go it alone.
