ADAM: I’M LOVING IT AT ROVERS

ADAM Armstrong says it was an easy decision to leave boyhood club Newcastle and sign a permanent deal with Blackburn.
The 21-year-old striker, who was on loan at Ewood Park last season, has agreed a four-year contract. “I enjoyed my time here last season and it was a no-brainer to come back,” he said.
“I’ve been at Newcastle all my life, but I’m sure I’ll settle in quickly.
“It’s nice to feel wanted and it’s nice to feel at home, so it was a pretty easy decision in the end.”
