DERBY skipper Curtis Davies says he and his teammates need to “buck up their ideas” as the fight for the play-offs nears its conclusion.
The Rams are in the mix with three regular-season fixtures remaining, but form has fluctuated in April, with wins over Preston and Bolton being followed by defeats to Wolves and Burton.
Davies, 33, admits Derby have shown a lack of heart and desire following the Burton loss and believes Gary Rowett’s side will have to improve if they are to compete in any potential play-off match.
