STAG BASE STILL ON SCHEDULE

MANSFIELD Town have confirmed they remain on track to open their new training ground in August, despite the recent spate of bad weather.
The Stags are in the process of building a new facility at Woburn, Pleasley which will house a 3G pitch, three other fullsize and one mini pitch, eight changing rooms, a function room, two classrooms, an office and a physio room.
Director Steve Hymas said: “The snow did put us back a couple of weeks but it’s all coming on well and looking good.
“It will all be complete during August.”
