ROCHDALE gave their League One survival hopes a massive shot in the arm with a stunning 3-0 win at Walsall.
Jim NcNulty set Dale on their way before second half strikes from captain Ian Henderson and sub Mihai Dobre, making his debut on loan from Bour nemouth, wrapped up the victory.
Dale keeper Josh Lillis saved an Erhun Oztumer penalty when it was 2-0.
The victory lifted Rochdale off the bottom of the table, leaving them nine points from safety with games in hand on the teams above them.
