MATT Taylor was given a harsh welcome to football management as his reign as Swindon interim manager began with a heavy defeat to local rivals Cheltenham.
Jake Andrews’ stunning free-kick and a Mohamed Eisa double ensured the visitors left the County Ground with all three points and ended a four-match winless run in League Two.
For Swindon, it was a first home defeat since Boxing Day, and Taylor admitted the team as a whole were disappointed with their performance.
