NORWICH veteran Wes Hoolahan has retired from international football with no regrets.
The 35-year-old playmaker called time on his Republic of Ireland career in midweek, retiring with 43 caps to his name, having scored his country’s opening goal against Sweden at Euro 2016 in France.
“I grew up dreaming of playing for my country and, when that dream came true for me, it was a great honour,” said Hoolahan.
