LEAGUE TWO
THE return of Accrington captain Seamus Conneely will be like a new signing, according to boss John Coleman.
The 29-year-old midfielder went under the knife this week to cure a groin hernia and is expected to be back at the start of February.
He said: “I am just disappointed that we didn’t do it earlier on, but I know Seamus wanted to play through it.
“But eventually, we have reached a point where enough is enough. When he comes back, he will be like getting another player.”
