BEN Whiteman enjoyed his try-before-you-buy experience at Doncaster so much he had no hesitation in making his temporary deal a permanent one.
The midfielder spent the first half of the season on loan with Rovers from parent club Sheffield United but has now joined permanently until the summer of 2021 for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old notched seven goals in 30 appearances during his initial loan spell at the Keepmoat Stadium and is relieved the transfer saga didn’t drag on and on.
