BERNARD Mensah was relieved to avoid a protracted transfer saga after becoming Bristol Rovers’ first signing of the January transfer window. The 23-year-old ex-Watford striker has made the move from National League Aldershot after scoring 14 goals in 56 league games and is raring to get going in the EFL.
