DAVIS FITS STRAIGHT IN AT VALE

PORT Vale defender Joe Davis is delighted to return from injury during the club’s resurgence.
The 24-year-old joined from Fleetwood in the summer, but Vale started the season poorly, picking up five points from their first 11 games.
Davis suffered a thigh injury in September before returning for the 1-1 draw at Colchester and 1-0 Boxing Day win over Coventry.
