DAN Watson was named Carlisle’s new goalkeeping coach on Wednesday, calling the move a ‘no-brainer’.
Watson, 39, replaced the well-respected Simon Tracey, who ended his twoand- a-half-year stint at the club for family reasons.
Watson left Port Vale to join Carlisle, admitting that the Cumbrians’ ambition was a big factor in his decision to join.
The former Derby and Wolves goalie said: “Chris Morgan, who I worked with at Port Vale, knew I was looking for a new challenge and he’s good friends with the gaffer here.
