PETERBOROUGH say they have turned down a £250,000 bid from another League One club for striker Ricky Miller – before the player officially joins them!
Miller has yet to formally join Posh after signing a three-year deal which begins when his Dover contract expires. He is expected to link up with the London Road club in June.
But Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony revealed that a club has already tried to sign him before he has even played for Peterborough
The 28-year-old scored 42 goals for the National League side this term.
