CREWE would love to keep Middlesbrough loanee Callum Cooke on a permanent basis, says assistant manager Kenny Lunt.
The 20-year-old midfielder has scored four goals in 17 appearances since joining from the Premier League club.
Lunt said: “We would love to keep Callum as he has been exceptional for us. I am unsure whether we will be able to do that, but I am sure we will ask the question.
“He has done really well and I am sure he has enjoyed the experience, but I’m sure he will go back to Middlesbrough in pre-season.”
