Addicks fan pays for his eagle ‘punch’…

A CHARLTON fan has been found guilty of trying to punch Crystal Palace’s bald eagle mascot, Kayla, during a League Cup game.
Addicks supporter Daniel Boylett, 36, of Eltham, was arrested after trouble broke out at the match, which Palace won 4-1, in September 2015.
He was found guilty at Croydon Crown Court of attempted damage for the attack on Kayla and also found guilty of violent disorder. He will be sentenced on April 28.
Prosecutor Daniel Higgins said handler Chris Belsey did not know if the punch had landed and Kayla ‘seemed unhurt’.
