Peter Storrie aims to use all his experience in football to guide Charlton Athletic forward after joining as chief executive officer on a consultancy basis.
Storrie has held senior positions at a variety of clubs, including West Ham and Portsmouth, as well as working in Italy, Colombia and Australia.
His arrival comes at a time when the club have ended takeover talks with a group led by Charlie Methven, though the former Sunderland part-owner has threatened to take legal action over the matter.
