Zigor Aranalde accused referee Jacob Mills of “a big mistake” as Watford were denied victory in a controversial finish.
Wrexham’s Ollie Rathbone struck in the 92nd minute to earn his side a dramatic draw, but Watford assistant manager Aranalde was furious with the referee.
First-half goals from Mamadou Doumbia and Othmane Maamma had overturned Josh Windass’s opener and put the visitors on course for all three points before Rathbone’s late intervention rescued a share of the spoils.
