Sean Dyche signs new deal with Burnley

manager has put pen to paper on a new contract with the Turf Moor club.

The 44-year-old has been in charge of Burnley since late 2012.

Dyche began his managerial career at in 2011. He guided the Hornets to an 11th place finish in the but was sacked at the end of the season following a chance in ownership.

The Scotsman  came back into management with Burnley in October 2012.

Dyche successfully guided Burnley to the in 2014 and after relegation last season, the 44-year-old is attempting to mastermind a return to the promised land of the Premier League.

The Clarets boss told the club's official website, “The Chairman, the Board of Directors and myself have been discussing the future of the club now for a while, because that comes first.

“On the back of that there was my role and we agreed to a short while ago to start talks on a new contract

“I am pleased to say that is now agreed. It's an improved situation for myself and hopefully the club as well.”

Burnley are currently sitting in 3rd place in the Championship. They face a tricky game against top of the table at Turf Moor tomorrow.
