Ojo picked Fulham loan because ‘they play the best football in the Championship’

So why did the 20-year-old select the Cottagers over a whole host of other sides? As it turns out, there were several reasons.

“I chose Fulham because of the way they're going, obviously they missed out on promotion last year and I watched the game and they were unlucky,” he said.

“This year, the way Fulham play is the best in the Championship so I think that was the main reason and I feel that will hopefully develop my game even more.

“I felt I did well against but I feel there's a lot more to come – physically I'm getting fitter and stronger but I didn't really feel as strong as I would've liked.

“My ambition is to help get the team as much wins as possible with goals and assists, so that's my main aim this season.”

Slaviša Jokanović's side have made an indifferent start to the new campaign, winning one, losing one and drawing three of their opening five games – but their lone win did come in impressive fashion against previously unbeaten Ipswich last time out.
