Peterborough United have won the race for the signature of Dover Athletic striker Ricky Miller by signing him to a three-year deal.
The 28-year-old will move to the Abax Stadium in June on a free transfer after spending two seasons at the Kent side, becoming the most prolific scorer in the National League in that time.
Millwall, Portsmouth, and Notts County are understood to have taken a look at the former Luton Town forward, but Peterborough have captured the National League Player of the Year as they begin preparations for next season.
A statement posted on the club's official website read: “Peterborough United can confirm that striker Ricky Miller has agreed a three-year contract with the football club and will officially join Posh when his current deal expires with Dover Athletic in the summer.
“The front man completed a medical at the Mick George Training Academy on Wednesday and will link up with his new team-mates for pre-season training at the end of June.”
Miller scored 42 goals for Athletic in a season where they battled for the play-offs, losing out by a margin of three points as Aldershot Town claimed the final spot for chance at promotion back to the EFL.
Posh manager Grant McCann commented: “I am delighted that Ricky has signed. We are pleased it is all done and dusted now.
“He has been the top player in the Conference, has scored over 40 goals and he is a winner. He knows where the back of the net is and I am looking forward to working with him.”
